About me

I was born in Turin in 1955. Now I live in Giaveno, near Turin (Italy).

My artistic journey began in 1994 with digital art in various mediums and experiments (fractal art, digital painting, rendering, laser engraving on aluminum), gradually extending to mixed media and finally to drawings and paintings made with classical techniques.

I perfected these techniques by frequenting the studio of the great italian painter Vinicio Perugia and other artists, including the famous Spanish painter Vicente Romero Redondo.

In recent years, I divided my time between painting and drawing portraits and female figures related to the Art Nouveau and Belle Époque periods, and continuing to produce mixed media and digital paintings with the series "Moving People" and "Wandering Landscapes,"the latter inspired by my travels.

I have participated in over 150 solo and group shows in galleries, museums and cultural centers in Italy and abroad.

Many works are held in art galleries and public institutions, museums, churches, and private collections.

I was a member of the Società Promotrice delle Belle Arti of Turin from 2005 to 2025.

Some of my works are permanently published on the Google Arts & Culture website.

In 2025, I was included in the prestigious Annual Catalog of Modern Art published by Editoriale Giorgio Mondadori.

One of my fractal art works was published in the "Treccani Encyclopedia for Children" in 2006.

A large selection of my paintings has published on cover of books and magazines, as well as in dedicated catalogs and articles.

techniques

For oil paintings, I mainly use canvas, but I also use irregularly shaped rough wood panels and occasionally vegetable cardboard or masonite panels.
For mixed media (digital + manual), I create a base coat digitally, subsequently adding acrylic paints, Sennellier and Rembrandt soft pastels, and Derwent pastel pencils.
For these works, I always use premium papers such as Hahnemuhle William Turner and Canson Infinity Arches, but also heavy weight cotton papers such as Saunders Waterford, Fabriano and Fontenay.

All the pieces of art I present on this site are unique works.
